Lord… Why NOT Me?

Interestingly enough, the last blog that I posted (The BLOG: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18) technically came out of a writer’s block, but was really coming from a spot deep in my heart that I was unaware of at the time. God has a way of putting the thing you need right in front of you when you really need it. If you’ve ever doubted yourself or thought that you were less than or not able to do then you need to know that God has placed gifts on the inside of you that only you can minister to others. You have to believe in what God has given you and work what you’ve got. The tennis legend Arthur Ashe said it like this:

“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” -Arthur Ashe

So when God places opportunites in your path that are specifically for you, don’t just dismiss it as being “something for someone else to do”. Take a chance, apply yourself, and believe that WHAT GOD HAS FOR YOU IT IS FOR YOU because God can open doors that no man can shut and shut doors that no man can open.

You just need to make the decision to be on the right side of the door post.

I leave you with this inspirational song from India Arie called “Just Do You”. Listen to the lyrics, apply it to your heart, and know that somebody’s got to change the game… it might as well be you.

What do you think? Shared wisdom makes us all stronger.
