The “I Do” Series [Part 1/8]: John 3:27-30

In this wedding season, I thought it would be beneficial to write a series about weddings, how to handle them, and helpful tips. As a musician (specifically a piano player like I am), you don’t want to limit your options as far as gigs/events are concerned and weddings are great events to be a part of. Before delving into how weddings and pianos were made for each other, check this verse of scripture out. John 3:27-30 (New Living Translation) says the following:

27 John replied, “No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven. 28 You yourselves know how plainly I told you, ‘I am not the Messiah. I am only here to prepare the way for him.’ 29 It is the bridegroom who marries the bride, and the best man is simply glad to stand with him and hear his vows. Therefore, I am filled with joy at his success. 30 He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.

As a musician, this is important information to know. Why? Stay tuned and find out.

What do you think? Shared wisdom makes us all stronger.
